Construction of Flood Mitigation Structure at Matling River, Package 4, Lanao del Sur

A flood mitigation structure is being constructed along Matling River in Lanao del Sur under Package 4 to protect surrounding communities from seasonal flooding and riverbank erosion. The project is part of the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project – Phase 1, which aims to enhance climate resilience in major river basins across Mindanao. It includes revetment works, embankment stabilization, and drainage improvements, and is supported by international development partners.
