This flood control initiative is part of the DPWH’s regional program to rehabilitate and reinforce major river basins in Eastern Visayas. The Binahaan River has long been a source of seasonal flooding, threatening residential areas, farmland, and public infrastructure in Tanauan.

Project DIME

Digital Imaging for Monitoring and Evaluation

A digital transformation initiative by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) in partnership with the Philippine Open Government Partnership, relaunched in 2023 to enable participatory and real-time monitoring of government infrastructure projects.
