Project Description

A flood control structure is being constructed along the Canturing River in Barangay Asuncion, Maasin City, Southern Leyte. The project includes 287 linear meters of stone masonry with reinforced concrete facing and apron on steel sheet pile foundation, plus 113 linear meters of tetrapods breakwater. It aims to protect low-lying communities and infrastructure from seasonal flooding and river overflow.
